Fox Chase gynecologic surgeons operate using robotic, laparoscopic and traditional abdominal incision approaches. Minimally-invasive robotic surgery is commonly offered for cancers requiring the removal of the uterus (partial hysterectomy), uterus and cervix (total hysterectomy), fallopian tubes and/or ovaries. The robot also can be used to help determine the stage of the cancer.
The Women's Menopausal and Sexual Health Program provides clinical support for cancer survivors facing issues such as menopausal changes, sexuality & intimacy and fertility concerns.
