Stay in Contact
During your stay in Philadelphia, members of your Fox Chase health-care team will need your local phone number.
Whether you stay in a nearby hotel, AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, Coventry House apartment or a private home, please provide that phone number to the Fox Chase housing and transportation coordinator and to your primary nurse or the nurse involved in coordinating outpatient chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Medical Emergencies
If you have a medical emergency during weekday daytime hours, call the number your doctor or nurse has given you. If you have a medical emergency on an evening or weekend, use Fox Chase Cancer Center's on-call system by calling 215-728-6900. Ask for the nursing supervisor. You may be directed to Fox Chase's Direct Referral Unit (DRU). In some cases, you may be directed to Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus. More about emergency care.
