At Fox Chase Cancer Center, our head and neck surgeons treat hundreds of patients each year using the latest surgical techniques available, including robotic procedures and other minimally-invasive approaches. Our surgeons specialize in treating the most difficult-to-treat cancers – including those with advanced disease, high risks, substantial comorbidity, or fast-evolving medical complications. Our faculty have dual appointments at the Department of Otolaryngology at Temple Health.

Patients who are initially told their tumor may be inoperable elsewhere may find that Fox Chase surgeons can offer a solution, given their depth of experience in complicated and advanced cases. The primary goal in all cases is to remove the cancer while preserving speech and swallowing. Preserving the function of the nearby nerves, organs and tissues is also a top priority.
