Fox Chase Doctors attended ASCO Meeting, June 2016.
CHICAGO – Clinicians and scientists from Fox Chase Cancer Center attended the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in June.
Nearly 80 Fox Chase representatives participated in panel discussions, poster presentations and podium lectures. The ASCO Annual Meeting is the premiere worldwide event for this type of exchange.
These presentations led to coverage in several notable media outlets.
This year Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Week is April 10-16. To celebrate, the Temple Head & Neck Institute will be providing free head and neck screening examinations on the Temple University Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Jeanes Hospital and Temple Health Ft. Washington campuses.

The goal is to not only identify those with signs and symptoms that are worrisome for head and neck cancer, but to also provide key information on how to watch for early changes in the mouth, head, or neck which might not be normal.
