The Friends of Fox Chase Cancer Center is made up entirely of staff and faculty from the Institution. Money raised by this dedicated group goes directly to fund patient comfort and complementary care items, scholarships, facility improvements, and more.
All Fox Chase employees are invited to join the Friends! Membership dues are $10 per year, or $100 for Lifetime membership. As our thanks for your support, every new and renewal membership will receive a 10% discount card, good for 5 separate purchases at Karen’s Korner gift shop. Some restrictions apply.
The group’s primary fundraising efforts take place in the hospital gift shop, Karen’s Korner. Proceeds from all sales go to Fox Chase. The Friends Chapter also facilitates the opportunity for visiting vendors to sell their own inventory of jewelry, specialty foods, clothing, books, and more, and donate percentages of their profits back to the Institution. Throughout the year, the Chapter also hosts popular events including cash bingos, seasonal raffles and more.

Applying for Friends Funding
The application for fiscal year ’25 Friends funding is now closed. If you are interested in applying for funding for fiscal year ’26, please contact Anna Honer at [email protected]. Applications will be considered near the end of fiscal year ’25.
Applying for the Friends Scholarship
The Friends of Fox Chase Scholarship deadline has been extended to November 30th. The application can be found here
Eligibility Criteria:
1. All applicants must be a full time Fox Chase employee for at least one year (at time of application deadline)
2. Be a current member of the Friends of FCCC
3. Be enrolled in a Healthcare program or other study related to the Fox Chase mission [Bachelors, Masters, Ph. D, Doctorate, etc.]
4. Be currently enrolled in the program.
All applicants will be scheduled for a brief interview (30 minutes) with the Friends Scholarship Committee and notified there after. Scholarship of $5,000 (pre-tax) will be awarded to three candidates
