Who can be in the study?

You may be eligible to take part if:

You are a man over the age of 40 living in Pennsylvania.
You’ve never been diagnosed with prostate cancer --OR-- you were diagnosed with prostate cancer less than 1 year ago.

What is this research study about?

Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center are committed to reducing the burden of prostate cancer in our area. We have found that prostate cancer rates are higher than we would like in certain Pennsylvania neighborhoods.

We are interested in what you think and have heard about prostate cancer and prostate cancer screening.

What does this study involve?

If you choose to take part in this study, you will be asked to fill out a one-time survey.
The survey can be done online, through the mail, in person, or over the telephone.
The survey will ask you about your history of prostate cancer screening, your attitudes about being screened for prostate cancer, and your knowledge about prostate cancer.
Once you fill out the survey, you will receive a $10 gift card as a token of our thanks.
