Fox Chase Cancer Center Proudly Supports Miles for Melanoma Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2018) – As part of its ongoing commitment to community health, Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to support Miles for Melanoma 2018 in Philadelphia. Faculty and staff, volunteers, patients, survivors, and their families will come together at this family-friendly 5K run/walk to raise funds to support melanoma research, education, and advocacy through the Melanoma Research Foundation. The run/walk starts at 8 A.M. at the Philadelphia Zoo on Saturday, September 8. Check-in and registration begin at 7:00 A.M.

“I am proud to represent Fox Chase as a team captain to help promote the Melanoma Research Foundation’s efforts in melanoma research, education, and advocacy,” said Jeffrey M. Farma, MD, chief of general surgery and co-director of the Melanoma Program at Fox Chase.
