Fifth Annual In Vino Vita Benefit and Wine Auction Supports Research and Patient Care at Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA, (March 27, 2018) — Fox Chase Cancer Center will present its signature fundraising event In Vino Vita Benefit and Wine Auction on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Vie in Center City.

Now in its fifth year, In Vino Vita has raised nearly $4 million to advance pioneering research and patient care at Fox Chase. It has also evolved into a premier wine event in Philadelphia. Some of the world’s finest winemaking talent will be participating in the event, including Clos Pegase, Chateau d’Esclans, and Champagne Laurent-Perrier.

While enjoying an evening of live music and a multi-course dinner, guests participate in a lively auction with high-end wine and related experiences available to the highest bidders. More than 500 leaders from the fields of healthcare, business, and philanthropy attended the 2017 event.

One of the hallmarks of In Vino Vita is the Special Pledge, in which attendees band together to support a worthwhile project at Fox Chase. This year the Special Pledge will focus on advancing patient care. Funds will be used to acquire new equipment, technology, treatment, and facilities to further improve the patient experience. Previous Special Pledges provided funding for upgraded infusion room patient chairs, an expansion and comprehensive renovation of the surgical family waiting suite, a state-of-the-art immunotherapy lab, and ten early-stage research projects.

Tickets are available at vinovita.org.
