Hayley E. Walker Joins Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (July 14, 2017) – Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to welcome Hayley E. Walker, MD, to the Department of Medicine as a hospitalist.

Walker comes to Fox Chase after completing her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar.

“We are excited to bring Hayley to our department,” said David S. Weinberg, MD, MSc, chair of the Department of Medicine. “With her blend of research interests and skill in the clinic, she will be an excellent fit at Fox Chase.”

During her residency, Walker published research on emotions and attitudes toward endocrine therapy in young women with breast cancer.

Walker will begin at Fox Chase on July 15, 2017.
