What:   Each year Fox Chase Cancer Center hosts the Annual Review Highlights of the San   Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) to help local oncologists, gynecologists and radiologists translate data from key presentations made at the American Association for Cancer Researcher (AACR)’s Annual SABCS – an international forum on the biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease – into practice. 

During the event participants will hear about new options for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer; premalignant breast disease; and new strategies for optimizing existing treatments. Speakers will also present information about the treatment of breast cancer, including screening, prevention, local control, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and advances in breast cancer biologics and their impact on breast cancer management.

Fox Chase Cancer Center (Fox Chase), which includes the Institute for Cancer Research and the American Oncologic Hospital and is a part of Temple Health, is one of the leading comprehensive cancer centers in the United States.
