PHILADELPHIA, PA (September 13, 2013)—Susan Copley Cobb, RN, MSN, PhD, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center and Jeanes Hospital as Director of Professional Development and Practice Innovation. In this role, Dr. Cobb will be responsible for professional development and continuing nursing education functions, and evidence-based practice and nursing research initiatives across both campuses.
Dr. Cobb comes to Fox Chase and Jeanes Hospital from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she held the position of Director of Nursing Education, Innovation, and Professional Development—providing leadership, vision, strategic planning, and operational management for nursing education and professional development. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at Excelsior College where she teaches graduate nursing education courses.
She received her PhD from Duquesne University, her MSN from University of Pennsylvania and her BSN from Binghamton University
