Fox Chase Holds FREE Event for Lung Cancer Patients

Philadelphia (November 1, 2011) – Fox Chase Cancer Center invites lung cancer patients and their caregivers to a FREE event titled “Together Facing Lung Cancer” on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 5 p.m. (dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. and official program will start at 5:45 p.m.). The event, which offers support to patients and caregivers facing lung cancer, will be held on the Fox Chase Cancer Center campus (333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia).

At the event, health care professionals from Fox Chase will discuss the treatment of lung cancer, management of side effects and the importance of building a support system of friends, caregivers, health care professionals, and counselors to help patients through their journey with lung cancer. There will also be a panel of lung cancer survivors present, as well members of the Fox Chase Lung Cancer Team to answer questions.
