Treatment Philosophy

I believe all people should have access to quality supportive and palliative care on their cancer journey, and I am committed to increasing access to palliative care. I have particular training and experience in working with patients who have a history of substance use or dependence, and am committed to helping people control their cancer symptoms while also helping them in their receovery journey. Additionally, effective research leads to more effective cancer care, and I am working to expand research into medication regimens to treat cancer symptoms and addiction, and research to better guide our communication, spiritual care and support.
