Megan L. Schaeffer, MMS, PA-C

My journey to Fox Chase Cancer Center began with the physician assistant program at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine in 2021. During my clinical rotations at Fox Chase, I was first introduced to surgical oncology, and it was there that my passion for the field took root. After graduating from Temple, I pursued a postgraduate fellowship in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in 2023. At MSK, I honed my surgical skills across various surgical oncology specialties, including robotic and minimally invasive techniques.

I believe that exceptional patient care starts with a strong PA-patient relationship built on trust, compassion, and continuity. It is further reinforced by a dedicated team of providers—such as the outstanding team at Fox Chase Cancer Center where I have found home. I am honored to be part of this multidisciplinary team and to contribute to its mission of providing exceptional cancer care.
