Faculty Distinctions and Updates
- 134 PubMed Indexed Publications in 2016-2017 with Urologic Oncology Division Members as Co-Authors
- Perineal Prostate Biopsy is now available to patients, eliminating risks of urinary sepsis.
- Numerous abstracts presented at various academic meetings throughout the year: American Urological Association Meeting in Boston, MA, GU ASCO Meeting in Orlando, FL, American Association for Cancer Research Meeting, Washington DC, Society of Urologic Oncology Meeting, San Antonio, TX
- Alexander Kutikov and Robert Uzzo again invited to co-author chapter on adrenal disorders in the 12th Edition of “Campbell-Walsh Urology.”
- Marc Smaldone and Alexander Kutikov co-edited the Urologic Clinics of North America issue titled “The Small Renal Mass and Its Management in Urologic Practice,” which included authors from major academic centers from across the country.
- UroLift Device is now available to patients for BPH treatment.
- The Division successfully matched 2 Society of Urologic Oncology Fellows from University of California San Fransisco and Albert Einstein University Program in New York.
