Living and Loving Despite Cancer
Dr. Selhub will focus on stress and resilience, especially looking at the stress and fears – physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual – associated with having cancer or caring for someone with cancer. She shares strategies about how to find peace, balance and harmony despite hardship. During this program, Dr. Selhub explains how to learn to be resilient, turn obstacles into opportunities and even strengthen the body’s natural ability to heal.
“In this elegant book, The Love Response, Dr. Eva Selhub shows why love heals us through very precise biological mechanisms. Read this book and heal yourself.” -Deepak Chopra
Dr. Selhub invites you to live in the Love Response® and discover your own natural ability to heal. In the course of her clinical practice and teaching career at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Tufts Medical School, and now at the Benson Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Selhub has found that a key factor for health is Love. Love sets off a set of physiological events in the body that help you to adapt to life’s challenges, to stop and reverse disease, to maintain health, and to make it easier for your body to improve rather than deteriorate with age. She calls this her prescription for love, or The Love Response®.
