Beersheba, Israel
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and Fox Chase Cancer Center are working together to establish many cancer-related collaborative programs. BGU is one of Israel’s leading research universities and among the world leaders in many fields. It has ~20,000 students and 4,000 faculty members in the Faculties of Engineering Sciences; Health Sciences; Natural Sciences; the Pinchas Sapir Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management; the Joyce and Irving Goldman School of Medicine; the Kreitman School of Advanced Graduate Studies; and the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies. The partnership has led BGU graduate students to pursue their degree research in Fox Chase labs, and to serve as bridges to sustain and nurture these partnerships. While not a formal graduate student program, it is hoped that this partnership will continue to expand and offer opportunities for BGU graduate students at Fox Chase.
