Uniform Biological Material Transfer Agreement
The Uniform Biological Material Transfer Agreement (UBMTA) was developed by the National Institutes of Health and the Association of University Technology Managers to simplify material transfers between other academic institutions. Academic as well as other not-for-profit institutions that have agreed to the terms of the UBMTA must become an approved signatory of the document. Fox Chase Cancer Center is a signatory to the UBMTA. Whenever possible, the Research & Development Alliance team will utilize the UBMTA to expedite the transfer of biological materials to academic and other not-for-profit institutions.
