- Dysphagia - difficulty or discomfort in swallowing
- Trismus – often called “lockjaw”, refers to patients who have limited ability to open their mouth
- Dysphonia – hoarseness or other abnormal voice quality.
- Dysarthria - difficult or unclear articulation leading to reduced speech clarity.
- Mild cognitive impairment (i.e. “chemobrain”) – mild difficulty with concentration and/or memory.
