Seventh Annual In Vino Vita Benefit and Auction Goes Virtual

PHILADELPHIA (September 14, 2020) — Fox Chase Cancer Center will present its signature fundraising event, In Vino Vita, on Friday, October 2, 2020, from 7–8 p.m. In order to maintain appropriate health and safety precautions, the 2020 gala was moved from its original spring date and will be held virtually for the first time in its seven-year history.

Fox Chase Researchers Find Novel Histone-Dependent PARP-1 Inhibitors More Effective at Treating Prostate and Renal Cancers

PHILADELPHIA (August 31, 2020)—In a recent study, researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center identified agents that can specifically target the histone-dependent route of PARP-1 activation. This novel approach appears to be able to target cancer cells better than traditional NAD-like PARP-1 inhibitors and could have potential for developing new treatments for urologic tumors.

Fox Chase to Participate in Virtual Philadelphia Walk to End Colon Cancer

PHILADELPHIA (August 27, 2020) - Fox Chase Cancer Center proudly supports the Philadelphia Walk to End Colon Cancer, a fundraising event organized by the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (Alliance) to raise money for colorectal cancer research, education, and awareness. In accordance with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the yearly walk will be held virtually on Saturday, September 12.
