PHILADELPHIA (July 7, 2023) — Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple Health were recently awarded a three year, $1.2 million grant to study sulforaphane, a promising cancer preventive agent derived from broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables, for the prevention of malignant mesothelioma.

PHILADELPHIA (June 29, 2023)—A team of nurse navigators at Fox Chase Cancer Center recently published a paper describing significant contributions they made to the patient access redesign at Fox Chase, an initiative that enhanced both the experience of patients and the professional satisfaction of the nurse navigators.

PHILADELPHIA (June 28, 2023)—Lucia Borriello, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Cancer and Cellular Biology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and a member of the Cancer Signaling and Microenvironment research program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has been awarded a three-year $450,000 research grant from Susan G. Komen. The grant supports early career scientists investigating the biology of breast cancer and paving the way to develop new treatments for the disease.
