Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Fox Chase Researcher Receives Grant to Study Gene as Target in Squamous Cell Head and Neck Cancers

PHILADELPHIA (January 23, 2023)—Pedro Torres-Ayuso, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Cancer and Cellular Biology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and the Cancer Signaling and Microenvironment research program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, recently received a grant that will be incorporated into the prestigious Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) for head and neck cancer held by Fox Chase Cancer Center.

PHILADELPHIA (December 22, 2022)—The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Fox Chase Cancer Center are pleased to announce the hiring of Lucia Borriello, PhD, as an assistant professor in the Department of Cancer and Cellular Biology at Temple. In addition to her primary position at Temple, Borriello will hold a dual appointment in the Cancer Signaling and Epigenetics research program at Fox Chase.
