PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2010) – In celebration of a seminal discovery in cancer biology, Fox Chase Cancer Center will host the Philadelphia Chromosome Symposium: Past, Present and Future, on September 28, 2010.

PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2010) –A new analysis has found that while colon cancer rates have remained steady over the past several decades among people under the age of 40, rectal cancer rates are increasing in this population across races and in both sexes.

PHILADELPHIA (August 12, 2010) – Marion Brody, MD - Associate Professor, Diagnostic Imaging, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Diagnostic Imaging as a staff radiologist. 

PHILADELPHIA (August 12, 2010) – Thomas J. Galloway, MD - Attending Physician, Radiation Oncology, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology.  

PHILADELPHIA (August 12, 2010) – Surgical Oncologist Alexander Kutikov, MD, FACS - Attending Surgeon, Urologic Oncology , has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s department of surgery after completing a Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the Center.

PHILADELPHIA (August 12, 2010) – Joshua E. Meyer, MD, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology. 

PHILADELPHIA (August 10, 2010) – Kenneth P. Patrick, MD - Director, Hospitalist Service, Internal Medicine, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Medicine as director of the hospitalist program.  The hospitalist team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive medical care to all hospitalized patients.
