Clinical Research

Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive cancer commonly diagnosed with evidence of metastatic disease. Although improvement to the standard therapy occurred in the last decade there is still significant room for further improvement and need for novel treatment options. As such we are highly supportive of clinical trials for patients with pancreatic cancer and encourage patients to consider participation in studies. Our team conducts multiple clinical trials for our patients with pancreatic cancer spanning the full spectrum of disease from early to late-stage disease. Our studies include the evaluation of novel agents targeting pancreatic cancer, as well as modification to available therapies to improve treatment tolerance and outcomes in specific groups of patients. Furthermore, our studies span all disciplines including medical, radiation and surgical oncology and include our basic scientist colleagues for sample evaluation of biological factors. The clinical trials list is updated on a regular basis to reflect the cutting-edge research ongoing in this area.
