PHILADELPHIA (November 19, 2024) — A team of lung cancer specialists from Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple Health was recently recognized by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) as the winners of the North American Cancer Care Team Award (CCTA) during this year’s annual meeting in San Diego.

PHILADELPHIA (November 19, 2024) — A study led by a researcher at Fox Chase Cancer Center provides new insights into the cellular composition and microenvironment — the noncancerous cells and molecules surrounding tumor cells — of small cell lung cancer. The research team also identified two cellular signaling pathways that play a significant role in the cancer’s aggressiveness.
