Fox Chase’s Dr. Daniel Geynisman Named Editor-in-Chief for JNCCN—Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network

Daniel M. Geynisman, MD, Chief of the Division of Genitourinary Medical Oncology and an Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief for JNCCN—Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is a nonprofit alliance of leading cancer centers devoted to patient care, research, and education.

Fox Chase Researchers Examine Effects of Radiation Therapy Timing on Lifespan of Artificial Urinary Sphincters

PHILADELPHIA (May 3, 2024) — In a study presented today at the American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting 2024, researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center showed that in men who have undergone surgery for prostate cancer, the function of artificial urinary sphincters for stress urinary incontinence was improved when radiation was used as an adjuvant therapy rather than as a salvage therapy.
