Billing and Financial Information

The Patient Financial Services Department handles all patient-billing questions and concerns, requests for itemized bills, and account balance inquiries. Our department will be glad to assist you with any hospital or physician bills received for services rendered during your stay at Fox Chase Cancer Center. 

Health Insurance Information

Fox Chase Cancer Center is committed to working with you, your physician and your  insurance carrier to make sure that you have full access to the Center's services. Fox Chase Cancer Center participates with most major insurance carriers and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for payment on any balances that may remain after your insurance carrier has paid. Please check with a patient account representative at 215-606-5000 prior to your visit to ensure that Fox Chase Cancer Center participates with your insurance carrier. Due to the many types of insurance coverage, it is mandatory that your insurance coverage be verified prior to your visit.

Fox Chase Cancer Center will submit a claim to your insurance company provided that you have assigned payment for your benefits to the hospital. Please be aware that most health insurance plans do not cover the full amount of hospital and physician bills. You will be required to pay any deductible, co-payment, or uncovered portions of the charges at the time that services are rendered. Our patient account representatives will assist you with the various ways of making payments toward any balances that you owe.
